Lisa Edelstein (born Lisa Edelstein) is an American actor best famous for her character House in Fox's Medical drama House. After turning 18, Lisa moved to New York City from Wayne which was where she was affixed to traditional Jewish customs. Soon after, she was involved in the club scene, creating enough fuss to draw the attention of the media. Then she used her experience as well her fame to compose and write a musical called Positive Me as well as to appear in it. The first time she was hired, she got her first position with MTV as the presenter of Awake on the Wild Side shortly after. After the show was finished the actress went on to do film and television productions. She started with smaller roles, and then became established gradually as an actor.
