Meagan Good's mom Tyra was a teenager when she worked at Panorama City as a manager as well as her father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman from LAPD. She grew with her 3 siblings in Canyon Country California, and made her debut in acting at the age of four. She started her acting career by working as an actor in TV programs such as Doogie Howser Amen, M.D. and Doogie Howser Amen. In 2004, she starred in D.E.B.S which was an action-comedy film which resulted in her being nominated as Best Actress at the Black Movie Awards in 2005. Following this, she appeared in several movies such as Cookout Venom Waist Deep and The Love Guru. In 2012 she kept her busy on T.V. Her film roles include Mya (in her role in Think Like a Man, starring a number of actors) as well as Ms. Stevens (in Dysfunctional Friends). After starring in numerous local shows, Kara Killmer made her on-screen debut in 2010 in the pilot part of the Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream. The show was based on a group of performers that move into the house of Hollywood California.
